36% tahun lalu.
Apple iOS bercokol di posisi tiga dengan
raihan 15%. Kemudian di posisi empat ada
BlackBerry OS yang meraup market share
11%, menurun dari yang sebelumnya
15,4% di kuartal 3 2010.
Microsoft yang mengandalkan Windows
Phone harus puas di tempat kelima.
Mereka hanya memiliki pangsa pasar 1,5%.
Namun kemitraan dengan Nokia dipercaya
akan menaikkan posisi Windows Phone.
"Marketing luar biasa dari Nokia dan
Microsoft untuk ponsel Lumia seharusnya
akan membawa perkembangan di kuartal 4
2011. Namun, perubahan yang sebenarnya
baru akan tampak di paruh kedua 2012,"

Dari sisi vendor Android, Samsung menjadi
yang terbesar. Gartner menggarisbawahi
larisnya jajaran ponsel Galaxy, di mana
Galaxy S II saja telah terjual sekitar 10
juta unit.
"Android diuntungkan dari penawaran pada
pasar yang luas, dan kurangnya produk
baru yang menarik dari Windows Phone 7
maupun RIM," ucap analis Roberta Cozza

Nokia which took market share of 17%.
This is a drastic reduction of the amount
of 36% last year.
Apple IOS entrenched in the top three,
which stood at 15%. Then at four positions
thereare the BlackBerry OS that grossed
11% market share, down from the previous
15.4% in the third quarter of 2010.
Microsoft relies on Windows Phone should
be satisfied in fifth place. They only have
1.5% market share. But the partnership
with Nokia is believed to raise the position
of the Windows Phone.
"Marketing tremendously from Nokia and
Microsoft to mobile Lumia should be
brought progress in the fourth quarter of
2011. However, the actual changes will
appear in the second half of 2012,"
Gartner said in a statement.
From the vendor's Android, Samsung
became the largest. Gartner highlights his
best-selling phone line Galaxy, where the
Galaxy S II alone has sold around 10
million units.
"Android benefited from bidding on the
broad market, and lack of exciting new
products from the Windows Phone 7 as
